was the perfect poster person for what metal is realy all
about, let this man be remembered for all of eternity as
the Father or atleast 1 of the founding fathers of the most
extreme form of musick, ever known to mankind and that form
of musick is DEATH METAL, although death metal is more than
just musick, its a way of life, much the same for BLACK
METAL. When i listen to DEATH the band i hear what i would
call pure musickal genius . For his family who may be older
and not realy understand the style of form of musick this
man created, i would have to say please listen more carefully
past all the brutal drums and guitar riffs and you will
here a man screaming from his insides, letting lose demons,
through a vent that is often looked down apon by the everyday
society for the fact that is is called Death Metal and that
instantly set some ppl off the wrong way. Those ppl were
never meant to understand what this musick is about just
on face value, there is much more to death metal and black
metal and metal in general . It provides a vent for us to
let lose all that is normaly held in hidden from even our
selves until we can pull it out. Death Metal will always
be here, no matter if Tipper Gore and the censorship f*cks
try to ban it HAHAHAHAHAHAH you f*cks will never succeed
. All hail and salute one of the greatest musicians ever
to live, now i didnt say he was the greatest, i said '1
of the' But indeed Chucks musick was very complicated at
times, and always leaves me just wanting to practice my
chops, Death is inspirational, the band and even actual
death. As the death of Chuck, has inspired me to push even
harder to achieve the musickal and life goals i have set
for my self . When my band finishes the cd we are recording
it shall be dedicated in the memory of Chuck Schuldiner
. DEATH shall never die, but only serve as pure inspiration
to many many metal legions to come. Metal will never be
the same, just as George Harrison's death will never let

thing that is able to assuage the pain of such a loss is
that I'm sure he knew how many people he touched with his
music and that his work had an enormous meaning for lots
of people all around the world. For his family, I hope they
know that, although we cannot bring him to be with us once
again, his legacy and name will live forever in the our
hearts and in our words, and we will tell for many years
about what a great musician and a great person he was. Rest

Chuck's music since about 2 years, but it means much more
to me than many other I knew longer. I always felt that
it was about music and lyrics which really have a soul,
not the stupid things other bands do because of their image.
His death is really a hard loss for music. He will be missed

loved Death. All of their albums were great, and "Individual
Thought Patterns" was one album that helped me through some
hard years. I spent along time trying to emulate Chuck on
the guitar. It is terrible that he is gone. He was the MAN
and there will never be another like him. I remember being
younger and some guys (the long-hairs haha) had "Scream
Bloody Gore". i couldnt believe what i heard!!! Completely
awesome. Now just yesterday i found out Chuck is gone. What
a loss. Wherever he is, I'm sure he is kicking ass. |

a fan of his music from the early demos, I first met Chuck
personally when I took over running Combat Records in 1989,
just before the beginning of recording "Spiritual Healing",
the first album I ever was involved in as A&R. Chuck had
the most clear sense of who he was as an artist of anyone
I've ever worked with over the years. It was an invaluable
learning experience working with him, one that really helped
me grow as a person and helped me understand what a true
artist is all about. Keep his music alive forever, because
it was all made with the love and purity that we always
hope comes from musicians. He kept it real and never ever

cannot not even begin to say why I am so saddened. Chuck
has inspired me above no other in playing the guitar and
songwriting. The music was always a testament to Metal.
Unique, melodic, complex and always passionate. When I chose
to give up playing to concentrate on work, I almost gave
up my second gift. I remember hearing the "Sounds Of Perserverance",
and relighting that gift again. I felt after hearing Control
Denied for the first time, that you were doing what you
have always wanted to do, and made it there!! You will live
in my, my family, and my bandmates hearts and minds forever.
I hope that your spirit will work in my fingers somehow...

This
a sad time indeed. I was just starting to to listen to Death
this year, and i fucking love Individua thought paterns
& Human, Cant call my self a long time fan, but those two
albums were always in my cd player. Since I heard of Chuck's
condition, I always checked in the latest news to see if
he would get better. I have had many friends in my life
taken away by cancer, and it always feels like "no, theres
no way they will be taken away" even though you know theres
the strong possibility of it, and when it happens, the shock
is great and painfull. Same happened when i heard that Chuck
died, its something that you dont expect, that you dont
want to belive it and when it sets in, its a bissmal feeling.
I think from now on, we should honor Chuck for an entire
year. EVERY death metal concert should be held in honor
of Chuck and the legacy of his music. R.I.P. Chuck, i regreat
that i didnt learn of your band sooner Chuck. |

back on the Individual thought patterns - Tour in Europe
I was able to have an Interview with chuck Schuldiner and
recognized him as human and friendly totally down to earth
musician, perfectionist and honest partner of thoughts...
So it went on along all my fanzine Days, I made the second
interview for Symbolic release and it was the same atmosphere...
Today I am out of music business because of the recordcompanies
moneyhungry sickness... What would have happened when NUCLEAR
BLAST, the european label which earned a lot money from
DEATH, would have paid for Chuck to come over to Europe
after cancer was recognized, what would have happened if
they'd not only release more and more records (and now become
rich) FUCK COMMERCE!!! That is a message of HATE cried out...

and it saddens me to hear of this loss. I would like to
say he's home with God now but in this case I am not sure
